The winning ticket
was sold by Sharon Ann Eldridge.
We don't have the
total yet on how much we will be donating. We didn't sell all of
the tickets. We still had over 200 tickets left prior to the
draw. Thanks to the hard work of Marilyn Logan, Jean Irving, and
Doreen Calder we sold over 100 tickets at the AQ. Also I would
like to thank them for selling the tickets for the meat
trays,50/50 draws, and the draw for the Harley plaque.
Thank you to the
girls for keeping track of the tickets as they were called out,
the members that helped in setting up, tearing down and putting
away everything for the draw and the members that helped with
the draw and also to the ones that showed up and offered to
help. We had more members than we had jobs.
A big thank you to
everyone that sold tickets. A special thank you to Heather
Dobson for looking after the tickets for the draw. I know she
lost sleep over them again this year. Darren McGinnes did a
great job as MC for the draw. Everyone I am sure enjoyed his
singing at the start and during the breaks. I would like to
thank Eldridges for matching our purchase of door prizes and
also for the second prize donation of the leather jacket. It was
a good time and everything went very well.
